Each year the online publication HATalk hosts and online photo-based competition. It is open to anyone, anywhere in the world it is an exciting opportunity to share my millinery work. The theme for this years competetion was Earth.
My entry for the HATalk Competition is a piece titled Just Like Heaven.
The earth naturally produces the most beautiful natural gifts. Each Spring after the frost and chilly winds disappear flowers begin to bud and open to reveal themselves around us.
This piece, Just Like Heaven features flowers that reflect the full bloom and beauty that the earth gives to us. The piece features hand-made floating flowers with delicate centres and shaped petals.
It is mounted to a fully covered wire headband and allows the flowers to float and frame the face.
